Kitchen New, modern stationary appliances & proper sink. The kitchen is furnished with counter-top appliances and kitchenware we think may you need. There is a four-person breakfast table between the kitchen and the living room. There is also seating at the island. One of the porches has a table that seats six, and we have additional tables and chairs that can be brought out.
Living Room The living room has a sleeper sofa, regular sofa, swivel and stationary chairs. Expansive sliding glass doors open to the lovely screened porch. This porch has a gentle two-person swinging chair and two things you hop into and swing in; kids love them.
We have GVTC Internet, WiFi, TV, and a Sony Blu-Ray DVD box which can access Amazon Prime, Netflix, and several other streaming video services, for which you will need your own userid/password. We also have a few random DVDs: The Second Best Marigold Hotel, Better Belly Yoga, The Jack Lemmon Showcase, About Schmidt, and While You Were Sleeping.
No description of the living room would be complete without listing the games! Yahtzee Texas Hold’Em, Apples to Apples Party Box, Backgammon, Clue, Sorry, Double Twelve Mexican Train Dominoes (a favorite), Big Brain Academy Card Game, Uno, Skip-Bo, many playing card decks, a 1000-piece puzzle, and a 500-piece puzzle. We have a Pony & Moose tic-tac-toe game and peg games: Go to the Races, Jump Pegs, Mind Twister, Tic Tac Toe, and Galaxy.

Downstairs are two bedrooms, the Sailboat Bedroom and Flowers Bedroom, each with queen-size beds and each with sliding glass doors leading to porches. On the porches, we have exercise equipment as well as an inviting hammock. In a bedroom closet, find Graco fold-up baby crib. The guest bathroom between the bedrooms has glass walk-in shower with seating.
Entrance to the garage is at the bottoms of the stairs.
As you open the security-coded front door, to your right you will see the cook-top island with bar stools, refrigerator, microwave and lots of shelves and drawers. Looking slightly up and to the left you’ll see the Mitsubishi Split-System heat pump for room heating and cooling (one in each room). Looking directly up, see the Velux skylight which is remote controlled by you. Looking straight out past the living room and dining area through the very large sliding window area is the screened porch with seating for a great view. Looking around you’ll notice wall painting, some of which were done by Marlys or her friend Nita. Some of the scenes are from Sweden.
