If you have gone to The Heritage Museum of the Hill Country when a docent is present, then you know that you might find tracks of carnivore and herbivore dinosaurs around Dala Hus. There are places along Contour Drive that look like faint tracks!
Yesterday we visited the San Antonio Botanical Garden for the first time. Here is “Rooted” and other displays. We especially enjoyed Jardin Restaurant.
Marlys tells me the area has good resale shops. She likes Kathi’s Resale, CRRC Thrift Store, and Pink Elephant Resale Shop — all in Satttler. Check days and hours if interested.
Kathi’s dropoff for items is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Expect more variety the day after drop-offs.

At Overlook Park at the dam there is a beach of sorts, WITH NO LIFE GUARD. It is a steep, rocky hike to get down there from the road.
