Registered guests may access technical information about the appliances and equipment in Dala Hus. The information includes the Velux skylights, Mitsubishi heating/cooling wall units, electronics, clothing washer, clothes dryer, and a host of other equipment documents. Also included the outside power panel, water timers, and water caching.

We were delighted to discover that IKEA has a store in Live Oak, not too from Rock Castle Dala Hus. We visited the store today and found a queen size sleeper sofa. We also had lunch at the IKEA restaurant.
Gruene sounds out as ‘Green’ in English. Good to know when people talk about heading over to ‘Green’ which by the way isn’t on any Texas Hill Country or Canyon Lake map. Gruene has been incorporated into New Braunfels.
This is a good map because it shows boat ramps, beach, parks, Guadalupe, and other features of the Canyon Lake area. You can get more detailed Canyon Lake literature at the the Canyon Lake Visitors bldg. at Trail Pass and FM2673.
Canyon Lake is managed by the U.S. Corps of Engineers and access to the lake is limited to boat launches, a few beach areas, and a few marinas. The lake itself is quite clear. If you squint at the map above you can see the Guadalupe River Dam on the right side of the lake.
